This #GivingTuesday donate to bring Ottawa’s history to life! On December 1st Carleton University is supporting CapitalHistory.ca by doubling the impact of your donations dollar-for-dollar. With more than 35,000 people passing by each day this is one of the most dynamic ways residents and visitors can learn about little known and untold local stories.
The first phase saw 17 installations across the City for Ottawa2017 we created in collaboration with the Carleton University’s Centre for Public History and the Workers’ History Museum. In 2019 another 12 installations were created in partnership with the National Capital Commission to celebrate its 150th anniversary and in Nov 2020 an additional 12 installation were completed that celebrate businesses and life in the market through a partnership with the ByWard Market BIA.
